HJC RPHA 1 Garrett Gerloff MC21 Helmet. The new RPHA 1 racing helmet is approved according to the FIM racing regulations (FRHPhe-01) and the new ECE 22.06 regulations. The RPHA 1 is the same model used by HJC riders in both MotoGP and WorldSBK. It has Silvercool interior padding, Pinlock 120 as standard and an effective ACS ventilation system tested in the wind tunnel. It stands out for offering advanced aerodynamics and offers excellent acoustic insulation. The helmet designed and developed in MotoGP, now available for all riders.Design history
Design with the iconic "Longhorn" bovine skull on the top, symbolizing Garrett Gerloff's Texas roots. They stand out with the ornate colors: red, white and blue, along with the Texas star on both sides. Inspired by legendary driver Ben Spies, whose replica at HJC also features the Texas star, this design is not only eye-catching but also reflects Gerloff's admiration for Ben Spies, adding special meaning to the design.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
External shell:
- PIM+ (Premium Integrated Matrix Plus) outer shell made of carbon and carbon/glass hybrid fabric. This compound allows the helmet to offer great resistance to impacts with a very low weight.
Ventilation:
- Advanced ACS ventilation channeling system: the entire air flow is directed from the front to the back, expelling heat and humidity. It has air inlets in the chin area and in the upper area and fully integrated air extractors in the rear area to extract humidity and hot air from inside it.
Screen:
- The HJ-35 screen offers 99% UV protection. It has anti-scratch treatment and has a double locking system. Incorporates supports for Tear-Off and Pinlock 120 included.
- New mechanism for changing the screen that allows you to mount and remove the screen simply, quickly and without tools.
- Evolved closing system.
Interior:
- Silvercool interior padding made of advanced antibacterial fabric, very breathable and quick-drying. All padding is removable and washable.
- The design of the side padding optimized for glasses wearers.
- Emergency extraction system for the side padding in the cheek area, which allows the padding to be removed quickly and easily.
Other features:
- Double buckle or double D closure system.
- Nose cover and chin cover included.
